All ongoing transportation projects, including BRT projects in Karachi, will be completed on time, according to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali.
He said this to the media after laying the foundation for three roads in the Landhi Industrial Area.
Road 8000 from Landhi Industrial Area to Future More, Road from Dawood Chowarngi to Younis Textile, Landhi, and Road from General Tyre, Mehran Highway to Landhi Industrial Area have all been inaugurated. A total of Rs 530.579 million was spent on the three highways.
“Work on the design of the Yellow Line BRT project has progressed to an advanced stage. The project’s construction will begin shortly, and it will be completed with the assistance of the World Bank,” Murad Ali Shah told the media during a briefing on Karachi BRT projects.
Construction on the Red Line BRT project will begin in the next two months, as per the chief minister.
