Key Holder of Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Al-Shaibi Passes Away

Dr. Sheikh Saleh bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi, the esteemed key holder of the holy Kaaba, has passed away after a long illness. His death has saddened many, including Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who both expressed their deep sorrow over his passing.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, also offered his condolences. He prayed for Dr. Al-Shaibi to be granted high ranks in the afterlife and wished patience and strength for his family during this difficult time.

Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the unique and significant honor that Dr. Al-Shaibi held as the key bearer of the Kaaba. Dr. Al-Shaibi was the 109th individual to hold this prestigious position, a tradition that has been passed down through generations, as recommended by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
