Pakistani boxer Usman Wazeer has extended his unbeaten professional record to 19-0 after defeating Indonesia’s Ari Agustian in Thailand.
The bout was held at the FFC Arena in Pattaya on September 26, where Wazeer entered the ring with an 18-0 record. Agustian came into the contest with a record of 10-3, including 10 wins by knockout.
With this victory, Wazeer completed his 19th international world-ranking fight without a professional defeat. The win has also earned him qualification for a World Boxing Association (WBA) Gold title fight, according to reports.
Wazeer previously won his 18th professional bout against India’s Baljit Singh, stopping him in the first round. That victory had taken his record to 18-0.
Following his latest win, Wazeer said he dedicated the victory to those who lost their lives while protecting Pakistan. He also thanked his supporters for backing him throughout his professional career.
The Pakistani boxer is now expected to move towards a WBA Gold title contest as he continues his unbeaten run.
