Kia EV6 Wins 2022 Car Of The Year Award

The Kia EV6 has been recently named Car of the Year, an award that allows auto writers from 23 European nations to vote on the finest new vehicle released in the previous year. However, the jury decided not to count the ballots of Russian delegates due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The organizers stated in their announcement that these votes would not have changed the rankung position of the winner’s or runner-ups.

This year’s award went to the Kia EV6, which received 279 points from the jury. This beat the Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric with 265 points. With 261 points, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 came at the third position.

However, the other finalists were the Peugeot 308 with 191 points, Skoda Enyaq with 185 points, Ford Mustang Mach-E with 150 points, and Cupra Born with 144 points.
