Kia recently celebrated the 25,000th CKD Sportage unit rolling off the local assembly line, which gives you an idea of how well the automaker is doing in terms of vehicle sales. A ceremony was conducted at the Kia Lucky Motors (KLM) manufacturing plant in Karachi, as per sources.
Furthermore, in the last two months, Kia has surpassed Honda Atlas, an older and well-established automaker in Pakistan, as one of the country’s top car sellers.
Several outlets and reliable sources in the auto industry report that about 1500 Kia Sportage units are sold every month, which is more than many family sedans and hatchbacks on the market.
Moreover, Kia has recently established itself with the introduction of the all-new Kia Sorento, which will compete with the Toyota Fortuner in the mid-size SUV market.
