Kia is all set to bring the Sorento SUV to Pakistan, as per the reports Kia had already bought in a few CBU units in Pakistan with the 2.4 litres and 3.5-litre V6 engine options. Both vehicles have been bought to analyze the SUVs, and for selling as complete knockdown units in the coming future.
Initially, Kia is importing 46 CBUs in Pakistan followed by local assembly, and Kia is expecting Sorento to be very successful as the Sportage in Pakistan that is selling over a thousand units per month. The details regarding the upcoming latest technology in a design of vehicle are discussed below.
Globally there is several engine options of Kia Sorento in various markets. It is reported that two main engine options will be provided to Pakistan. One of it will have 2.4 litres and 4 –cylinder petrol engine that also makes the 169 horsepower and 220 newton/meters of torque; however, the other engine is of 3.5 litres that are naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine that makes up to 276 horsepower and also the 336 newtons/meter of torque. The power to all four wheels by both with the 6-speed automated gearbox is provided.
The performance can be determined through the performance engines installed in it. The suspension setup has the Multi-link coil spring outback of suspension. The disc brakes on all four wheels are with ABS technology.
