Pakistan generated $107.09 million in revenue by exporting 85,247 tonnes of fresh mangoes to 49 countries, reflecting the international demand for the country’s seasonal fruit.
The United Kingdom emerged as the largest market in terms of export value, importing Pakistani mangoes worth $29.92 million. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates received the highest volume, with shipments reaching 23,025 tonnes.
The figures show that demand for Pakistani mangoes varies across international markets, with some countries contributing more through the value of their purchases and others importing larger quantities.
The five leading export destinations collectively accounted for nearly 75% of Pakistan’s total mango export earnings. This concentration highlights the importance of major markets in supporting the country’s fruit export trade.
Mangoes are an important part of Pakistan’s agricultural sector and are exported to markets across the Middle East, Europe and other regions. Their export performance contributes to foreign exchange earnings while providing business opportunities for growers, traders, packers and exporters.
Maintaining access to international markets depends on meeting quality standards, preserving freshness during transportation and ensuring that shipments reach buyers in suitable condition. These factors are particularly important for fresh produce, which requires careful handling throughout the supply chain.
The export figures underline the role of overseas demand in Pakistan’s mango industry and the contribution of established trading partners to its earnings. Expanding market access and maintaining product quality could help exporters strengthen the presence of Pakistani mangoes in international markets.
