KP Bans Photography at Girls School Events

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa education department has taken a specific action by prohibiting the practice of taking photographs during events hosted at girls’ schools.

This decision comes in response to complaints that were reported through the citizen portal, indicating that there were concerns or issues related to photography during these events.

Furthermore, the education department has issued instructions to all schools, emphasizing the importance of inviting only women officers as chief guests during these events.

This move is aimed at providing a comfortable and appropriate environment for the girls and women attending these gatherings. The department has made it very clear that no one, presumably referring to attendees or participants, will be allowed to take photos during these school events.

It’s worth noting that in previous years, various colleges and universities in the region have implemented rules related to dress codes, which suggests that the authorities are taking steps to ensure a certain decorum and atmosphere during educational and social events involving girls and women in these institutions.
