In the aforementioned economic zones, an estimated Rs338 billion has been invested, leading to the establishment of 366 new industrial units and the revival of 167 ailing industrial units.
The chief minister referred to industrial development as being crucial for maintaining economic stability and stated that the current provincial administration was giving the industrial sector significant attention in order to foster job and livelihood prospects.

He continued by saying that the province government was working hard to create an environment that would be favourable to industrialists and draw in investment. He emphasised that industrialization, which would increase exports and require true and committed leadership to serve ordinary residents, was the only way to achieve economic progress.
