KP Students to Get 14 Consecutive Holidays

Students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are gearing up for a much-needed break as the provincial government announces an extended holiday period of 14 consecutive days. The break, comprising both spring break and Eid ul Fitr holidays, will commence from April 1st.

The KP government has officially declared a week-long spring vacation for all public and private educational institutions throughout the province. The Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued a notification, confirming that schools will remain closed from April 1st to 8th.

With Eid ul Fitr 2024 anticipated to fall on April 10th, the provincial government is expected to extend the holidays further, from the 9th to the 14th of April.

This means that students across KP will enjoy a total of 14 uninterrupted days off from their academic routines.

However, it’s important to note that while students will be on holiday, administrative staff and teachers will still be required to attend schools for activities like handling new admissions and administrative tasks.

The extended break provides students with an opportunity to unwind, spend quality time with family, and recharge before resuming their academic activities. It also aligns with the festive occasion of Eid ul Fitr, allowing students to celebrate the joyous festival with their loved ones.

The announcement of these consecutive holidays brings relief to students and educators alike, providing a well-deserved break amidst the academic year’s hustle and bustle.
