Kuwait has officially approved a Defence Cooperation Agreement with Pakistan. This step strengthens the military and security partnership between the two friendly countries.
The agreement creates a clear framework for joint work. It covers military training, education, intelligence sharing, logistics support, technology exchange, and the movement of military personnel and experts. Both sides will work together in these areas to build stronger capabilities.
A joint military committee will manage the agreement. The committee will prepare yearly cooperation plans and arrange official visits between the two countries. This will help keep the partnership active and organised.
The pact also includes strong rules to keep shared information confidential. Any disagreements will be solved through friendly talks and mutual understanding.
Pakistan and Kuwait already share long-standing defence ties. They signed an earlier cooperation agreement in 2023 focused on training and exercises. The new approval expands this relationship further.
