Kuwait defeated the Pakistani football team in SAFF Championship 2023 held at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru. Kuwait secured a clean 4 – 0 triumph over the Pakistani team in a match held on Saturday.
Hassan Al Enezi made Kuwait’s position strong by opening the scoring in the 10th minute. Mubarak Al Faneni followed the lead doubling the score in just seven minutes. Mubarak’s fine performance at the end of the first half made Kuwait’s position highly dominant by making another goal.
Pakistani team tried to halt the flow of goals in the second half, but could not win against Kuwait. Although Kuwait participated in the championship as an Invitee, the team is showing exceptional performance. They previously defeated Nepal by 3 – 1 in the first match as well.
Pakistan’s team finds themselves in a dangerous position as the team has also faced a similar 4 – 0 defeat against India in the opening match held on Wednesday.
