Lahore airport declared fit for heavy aircraft operation.

The runways at Allama Iqbal International Airport have been designated as world-class. Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore was deemed clear and legitimate for landing and take-off of Boeing and Airbus aircraft in a technical audit report by the CAA’s Aerodrome Department.

The Directorate of Aerospace and Aerodrome Regulation studies have certified the airport.

The Aerodrome Reference 4E Code allows large aeroplanes to fly at Lahore Airport. Every year, the airport is audited in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization’s requirements (ICAO).

Boeing 747, 787, and 777 aircraft can resume operations at Lahore Airport according to a certificate-based Notum given by DAR. The Airbus A330, A340, and A350 have been certified for landing.
