During a late-night raid on a snooker club in Lahore, the police arrested Ahsan Ramzan, who is the World Snooker Champion. He alleges that he was mistreated for about 15 minutes at the police station, even after informing them of his champion status.
He was released only when his friend arrived. Ahsan Ramzan has called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab’s caretaker CM Mohsin Naqvi to address the situation and take action against the police officials responsible.
