Lucky Motor Corp has issued a safety warning to Kia Sportage owners in Pakistan

Lucky Motor Corporation Limited (LMC) – formerly KIA Lucky Motors Pakistan Limited – has issued a safety alert for its Sportage models, advising consumers to have their vehicles inspected owing to a “possible electrical fault” that could cause “safety dangers.”

The company’s announcement comes on the heels of Hyundai Nishat Motors’ recall of Tucson automobiles in May owing to a safety issue.

LMCL published a statement to this effect on Friday, referring to the move as Lucky Motor’s Special Safety Service Campaign.

The business has asked Sportage owners to take their vehicles to the nearest approved dealer for an assessment in order to determine the problem and rectify it.

Dealerships will replace any malfunctioning HECU fuse kits that pose a fire hazard if necessary. “We believe in removing potential hazards by acting quickly to ensure the safety and happiness of our loyal customers,” LMCL stated, adding that the inspection and component replacement will be free of charge.

Customers can also check if their vehicle is on the list of affected automobiles via an internet website link provided by the corporation.
