TVS Motor, an Indian motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced its electric two-wheeler, TVS X, in UAE. KN Radhakrishnan, the CEO of TVS Motor Company, announced that bookings have commenced, and deliveries in India are scheduled to start in November 2023.
Radhakrishnan also mentioned that the initial 2,000 buyers of the TVS X will receive several other benefits as well. The e-scooter is set to be rolled out in the UAE and other global markets from the following financial year, with competitive pricing.
Sudarshan Venu, the Managing Director of TVS Motor, emphasized the significance of cutting carbon footprints in the face of climate change and praised the Indian government’s support for electric vehicles. The company’s previous electric scooter, iQube was launched in 2020 and gained massive popularity among consumers.
The debut of TVS X was celebrated by featuring it on the iconic Burj Khalifa. Priced at Rs 249,990 (Dh11,120), the e-scooter aims to provide eco-friendly transportation options.
