Mahrukh Chohan Becomes Youngest CSS Officer to Join Pakistan Customs

Mahrukh Chohan, a 23-year-old from Bahawalpur, is the youngest Central Higher Services (CSS) officer to join the Pakistan Customs Service Group.

Ranked seventy-three in the 2021 CSS exam and allocated to the CSS (50 Common) Pakistan Customs Service Group.

With this accomplishment, she became the youngest officer to enter the Customs Service that year and in the history of Pakistan Customs.

Chohan is the daughter of the eldest (retired) Muhammad Akhtar Abid Chohan and is originally from Kharian Tehsil of Gujrat, Punjab.

He studied at institutes in different cantons and often changed schools due to his father’s responsibilities. Nevertheless, she continued on her successful course.

In an interview with Daily Pakistan, Chohan, who passed the CSS exam on the first try, mentioned that he did not study at an academy to prepare but was the result of self-study.

He told the publication that he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Islamabad’s National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

Chohan also announced that his final semester could not be finished on time due to the pandemic.
