The Nishat Group has achieved a significant milestone, with local production of the Jaecoo J5 and Jaecoo J7 surpassing 5,000 units in Pakistan.
A special ceremony was held near Faisalabad to celebrate this achievement. Senior officials of the Nishat Group and Jaecoo Pakistan attended the event and highlighted the brand’s rapid growth and strong customer demand in the country.
Jaecoo, which is part of the Chinese automaker Chery’s Omoda & Jaecoo brand, entered the Pakistani market just over a year ago. Despite being a new player, the brand has quickly gained popularity due to its modern design, advanced features, and hybrid technology options.
The 5,000-unit milestone includes both petrol and hybrid variants of the J5 and J7 models. This achievement reflects growing consumer trust in the brand’s quality, performance, and innovation.
Globally, Omoda & Jaecoo has sold nearly one million vehicles in just three years, showing its fast rise in the international market. The strong performance in Pakistan further strengthens the brand’s position in emerging markets.
Industry experts believe this milestone is an important step for Pakistan’s automotive sector. It shows that locally assembled vehicles with modern technology are becoming increasingly popular among Pakistani buyers.
