Matriculation Exams Will Take Place in Karachi or Not? Board Clearifies

Due to the ongoing political uncertainty following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case, private schools across the country will remain closed.

However, the matric board exams in Karachi will proceed as scheduled, with the Biology paper in the morning at 9:30 am and the English paper for the matric general group at 1:30 pm, according to the exam controller of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK).

In contrast, the Cambridge Board exams for tomorrow have been suspended. The All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) has issued a notification stating that the schedule for regular classes in private schools will be released after careful consideration of the ongoing situation.

APPSF President Kashif Mirza has urged students, teachers, staff, and parents to remain calm and cautious during this emergency situation. The protests following Imran Khan’s arrest have resulted in violent incidents and acts of vandalism reportedly involving PTI workers.

The authorities are closely monitoring the situation as protests continue to escalate. The political unrest has raised concerns about the safety of citizens and the overall stability of the country.
