MG to Introduce 3 New Vehicles with a “Surprise” Affordable Car

Due to recent developments, the automotive industry has become a hot topic of discussion even among Pakistan’s common people. Morris Garages (MG) is one of the names that comes up often in these discussions.

Since its launch, there has been speculation about the automaker’s future in Pakistan, owing in part to a number of notable events and some controversy, but more due to Javed Afridi’s business and marketing acumen, as well as his social media activity.

Afridi recently sat down with a UAE-based media outlet for a brief interview, during which he confirmed that the company is poised to increase its influence on Pakistan’s automotive industry. He also stated that two of the company’s local assembly plants, one in Karachi and the other in Lahore, are in the works, with the latter nearing completion.

Both plants, he added, will enable the company to sell locally assembled EVs at a fair price to the Pakistani public. He also mentioned that the company would add three more vehicles to its portfolio in the coming days, including a “surprise” budget family car aimed at the middle class.
