Michael Vaughan Wants ICC to Suspend Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli doesn’t hold back when it comes to expressing his emotions on the field, and the world was witness to yet another of the Indian Test captain’s on-field outbursts.

On Day 3 of the third and final Test against South Africa in Cape Town, Kohli was caught on stump mic making derogatory remarks regarding umpiring and technology.

Kohli’s outburst was in response to opposition captain Dean Elgar receiving a reprieve owing to a disputed DRS ruling. R. Ashwin hit Elgar’s pads with a thrown up delivery that looked plumb to the naked eyes as he was batting on 22.

However, ball-tracking revealed that the delivery gained some bounce and went above the stumps, perplexing the Indian camp, including skipper Kohli.

Kohli, apparently enraged by the DRS judgement, stepped up to the stumps and said: “When your team shines the ball, don’t simply concentrate on the opponent.

I’m always trying to catch folks. “Rahul and Ashwin reacted in a similar manner. The letter KLRahul stated, “It’s the whole country versus 11 men,” while Ashwin criticised the network, saying, “You should find better methods to win, SuperSport.”
