Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Offering Multiple Job Positions in Pakistan

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Islamabad, is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill various Management Scale & Technical positions on a contract basis. These positions include General Manager, Digital Communication Officer, and Content Writer.

Position Details:

General Manager (MP-II):

Pay Scale: MP-II

Qualification: Ph.D. in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies & Communications, or Social sciences such as Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, History, and Computer Sciences from an HEC recognized university.

Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with a Ph.D. or 14 years’ professional experience with a Master’s degree, particularly in Digital Media Management.

Maximum Age: 62

Digital Officer (MP-III):

  • Pay Scale: MP-III
  • Qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies & Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience: Applicants should have at least 6 years’ experience with a Ph.D. or 10 years’ professional experience with a Master’s degree, with a focus on Digital Media Management.
  • Maximum Age: 62

Content Writer:

  • Pay: Fixed Pay (Rs. 75,000) Contractual
  • Qualification: Master/Bachelor’s Degree (04 years) in Computer Science/IT, Media Studies/Journalism/Communication, Business Administration, or English Literature.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in content development.
