Ministry of IT and ISPR Collaborate to Develop and Promote Pakistan’s Animation Industry

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has partnered with the Ministry of Information Technology and the military media wing to develop and promote the country’s animation industry.

Federal IT and Telecom Minister Syed Aminul Haque, IT and Telecom Secretary Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, and DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar attended the ceremony at the headquarters of ISPR in Rawalpindi on Saturday, as per an official statement.

The animation industry’s global market size is about $270 billion, and it is projected to expand to $415 billion by 2025. Pakistan has tremendous potential to become part of this growing industry, the statement added.

Pakistani animators currently, have limited access to the facilities, technical training and available courses.

The animation industry will significantly contribute to Pakistan’s economy. It can create opportunities for jobs, bring international investment, and help prepare a skilled workforce.
