Modern Day Cricket More About Chasing Big Totals: Haris Rauf

Haris Rauf, the fast bowler of the Pakistan cricket team, believes that modern cricket is all about chasing big targets. He made this remark after his team chased down a massive target of 337 runs against New Zealand in the second ODI, taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

According to Rauf, gone are the days when teams used to be satisfied with scores less than 300, and now it’s all about chasing down anything around or over 300.

Rauf further stated that in ODIs, bowlers should be prepared to concede runs and focus on taking wickets. He praised his team’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan for his exceptional performance in the middle order, helping the team to finish off the matches.

Rauf also appreciated the partnership between Babar Azam and Rizwan, which has been instrumental in their recent victories. The fast bowler added that both teams put their best efforts in the game, and winning and losing are part of the game.

However, a good performance in the series will help the team build momentum for the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup. Rauf expressed his determination to maintain the same tempo for the rest of the series.
