Mohammed Rizwan has been nominated for the “Player of the Month” award by the ICC ( International Cricket Council ) as Rizwan did an outstanding performance in the T20 format of the game.
Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman beat India’s Virat Kohli and became the highest run scorer in T20 Asia Cup 2022.
In order to name the feat, Rizwan scored 281 runs in 2 week long tournament. Moreover, he also revise the cricket record book when he was the first batter in record book when he became the first batter in the game’s history to score more than 300 runs in a bilateral T20I series during the Green Shirts’ latest series against England.
It is pertinent to inform, that along with Rizwan Cameron Green of Australia and Axar Patel of India have also been nominated.
