Moon Sighted in Pakistan! Eid-ul-Adha will be on 27th May

Pakistan has officially sighted the moon for the month of Zil Hajj, confirming that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated across the country on May 27. The announcement was made after meetings of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, where testimonies of moon sightings from different regions were reviewed and verified. With the new Islamic month set to begin, preparations for the religious festival are expected to accelerate in cities and towns nationwide.

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most important occasions in the Islamic calendar and is observed with special prayers, animal sacrifices, and charitable acts. Markets, cattle bazaars, and shopping centers are likely to witness increased activity in the coming days as families make arrangements for the celebrations. Authorities are also expected to implement special security, sanitation, and traffic management plans to facilitate citizens during the holiday period.
