More Than 80,000 Pakistanis Sign Up for Hajj 2027

Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has continued the registration process for Hajj 2027, with more than 80,000 people already completing their registration. The steady response shows the strong interest of Pakistanis who plan to perform Hajj next year.

According to official figures, around 47,000 registered applicants are men, while more than 33,000 are women. Most of those who have registered are between the ages of 25 and 50, making this the largest age group among the applicants.

The ministry also shared that people from different educational backgrounds have completed their registration. This includes applicants with PhD, master’s, bachelor’s, and intermediate qualifications, showing that people from all walks of life are preparing for the pilgrimage.

Officials have confirmed that registration is mandatory for everyone who wishes to perform Hajj through either the government Hajj scheme or a private Hajj operator. Completing the registration is an important step before the final selection process.

The registration is being processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so eligible applicants are encouraged to complete the process as early as possible. The ministry has also clarified that there is no registration fee, making it easier for people to register without any additional financial burden.

Applicants must have a valid passport that remains valid until at least 26 November 2027 to be eligible for registration. Overseas Pakistanis can also apply and complete the registration process if they meet the required conditions.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs continues to facilitate the registration process to ensure that eligible pilgrims can prepare for Hajj 2027 in an organized and transparent manner.
