Multan Sultans Beat Lahore Qalandars By 28 Runs

Multan Sultans recently defeated Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) seventh edition’s first qualifier match on Wednesday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Multan Sultans had set a 164-run target for Lahore Qalandars earlier. However, Lahore Qalandars were unable to chase the target, scoring only 135 runs in 20 overs and losing nine wickets.

The Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to bat first.

Both teams eye for a place in Sunday’s final, with the Sultans, led by Rizwan, clearly the favourites. The Qalandars, led by a young skipper, have also proven to be a tough contestant.

Moreover, the two teams played two games, with each winning one. In the meantime, the winner of today’s match will proceed to the final, while the losing team will face the winner of the eliminator match.
