Murree and China’s Dujiangyan are Now Step Cities

A significant development to enhace the cooperation between China and Pakistan has been done in signing ceremony,held in Lidui Park of Dujiangyan. Ambassador Moin ul Haque represented the Murree whereas Mayor Zhang Yadan signed  ta letter on intent as a representative of Dujiangyan.

This step would help the Murree to learn from the Dujiangyan how to manage and host the large number of tourists as Dujiangyan host about 30 million tourists annually. This latest addition would also pave the ways for further upgradation of tourism infrastructure in Murree. Moreover, this latest addition to the existing strong people-to-people ties between various regions and cities of China and Pakistan through more than 40 sister province and sister city agreements is a positive step forward.

This initiative further strengthen the Pak-China relationship and open various opportunities of learning. The mismanagement events readily occurred in Murree so from this agreement a ray of hope emerge that Murree will acquire all the necessary skills from Dujiangyan to manage the massive inflows especially in Special events of the country.
