The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has taken possession of Karachi’s landmark Bahria Icon Tower as part of an ongoing investigation involving property tycoon Malik Riaz.
The action follows the enforcement of a provisional attachment order after authorities said the attachment was confirmed by the court.
According to officials, the development is linked to a continuing probe into alleged financial irregularities and money laundering.
The takeover marks a significant escalation in the high-profile case, with authorities continuing legal proceedings involving the real estate magnate and associated assets.
