‘Naswar’ Banned in Arab Countries, Listed as Drug

Recently, the use of ‘Naswar,’ a powdered tobacco snuff popular in Pakistan and Afghanistan, has been classified as a narcotic by Arab countries.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has put banners at the country’s several airports, asking travelers not to travel to Arab countries with ‘Naswar.’

It is a crime to travel with Naswar, and if ‘Naswar’ is discovered in someone’s luggage in any Arab country, the person will be severely punished.

All travelers to Arab countries are barred from bringing ‘Naswar’ with them, according to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).
