On Saturday, Tabish Gohar- Prime Minister’s Special Assistant (SAPM) for Petroleum & Energy repeated the Govt’s promise to make the country to cleaner fuels and green energy.
While speaking to Angela Aggeler- US managing director in Islamabad, Tabish said the by 2030, the Govt aim is to enhance Hydel’s share of electricity production by 45 % & renewable resources by 30.
Aggeler praised the renewable energy policy & proposed that the approach to implement the Pak-US cooperation with each other in the petroleum & power sector.
Throughout the meeting, the two leaders talked about the prospects for the future & marketplace of the energy sector within the both countries.
