Mount Everest has witnessed many mountaineers, but this Nepalese man is undoubtedly the most inspirational as he climbed the biggest mountain of the World with Artificial legs.

Hari Budhamagar, an ex-Nepalese soldier who lost his both legs in 2010, while serving British Gurkha in Afghanistan. Hari lost all his hopes of following climbing passion after the Nepalese government prohibited double-amputee, blind, and solo hikers from climbing mountains in 2017.

However, in 2018, a petition was filed against this prohibition which resulted in withdrawal of the ban. Consequently, Hari decided to pursue his dream of ascending mount Everest overcoming the physical, mental, and societal challenges.

It was updated on his twitter account that on 19th May, around 3 p.m. that Hari stood triumphant as the first double-amputee to ever climb Mount Everest. He followed his dream even after 13 years of losing his legs, shows his unwavering determination.

According to the twitter statement, Hari in discussions with NSSL Global, stated that the journey was tough but if he can climb Mount Everest irrespective of his disability ‘anyone can achieve their dream’. His words, “No matter how big your dreams, no matter how challenging your disability, with the right mindset anything is possible” are true words of hope for everyone struggling in their lives.
