New Airline ‘Air Karachi’ Seeks License to Operate Flights in Pakistan

Air Karachi, a new airline supported by local investors, has applied for permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to start domestic and international flights. The airline has submitted a detailed business plan and all necessary documents for approval.

Air Karachi was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in November 2024. The airline plans to offer both passenger and cargo services. It has assured the CAA that it will follow all aviation rules and has requested a quick review of its application.

Once it receives the Regular Public Transport (RPT) licence, Air Karachi will begin operating domestic flights. Later, it plans to expand its services to international routes. This new airline is expected to bring more travel options for passengers and businesses in Pakistan.

The launch of Air Karachi is an important development for the country’s aviation industry. More airlines mean better competition, improved services, and potentially lower ticket prices for travelers. It will also create jobs and help boost the economy.

If approved, Air Karachi’s entry into the market could provide a fresh alternative for domestic and international travel. The airline aims to offer safe, reliable, and efficient flights while contributing to Pakistan’s growing aviation sector. Passengers can look forward to more choices and better connectivity once Air Karachi takes off.
