As per recent news, the official launch date for the new Suzuki Swift 2022 in Pakistan has been recently announced by Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC).
According to the company, the new Suzuki Swift 2022 will make its debut in Pakistan on February 24, 2022, which implies the much-anticipated hatchback will be unveiled this Thursday.
For the inaugural launch of the hatchback, the new Suzuki Swift 2022 will be on show at the company’s 3S outlets in Karachi and Islamabad. It’s worth noting that this is the first time Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has introduced a new Suzuki Swift model in Pakistan since the car was introduced over a decade ago.
The company has not provided any other details about the vehicle, but the official advertisement confirms that the new Suzuki Swift 2022 will be powered by a 1.2L engine and will be available in three different models.
It is important to mention that the Suzuki Swift has been one of the best-selling cars in the country, and the new 4th generation model is predicted to take the automotive industry by storm, with many enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the vehicle’s launch.
However, the success of the Suzuki Swift 2022 will be determined by the vehicle’s price, given the increased competition in the market, particularly the availability of cheaper sedans such as the Proton Saga and Changan Alsvin, which have very competitive pricing in the automotive industry.
It is worth noting that the new Suzuki Swift 4th generation, which is being launched in Pakistan, is not completely new; it’s been on the worldwide market for a few years. However, this is the first time Pakistan has received a new Suzuki Swift model since the vehicle’s introduction over a decade ago.
Engine and Transmission
The new Suzuki Swift will be powered by a K12C (1250cc) engine, which will most likely be paired with a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission in the GLX variation, with a standard transmission in the GL Auto Transmission option.
However, the specifications of the new Suzuki Swift will be announced at the unveiling ceremony in Karachi and Islamabad on Friday, February 25, 2022.
Expected Variants of Suzuki Swift 2022
The new Suzuki Swift 2022 is scheduled to be offered in Pakistan in three variants: Swift GL (Manual Transmission), Swift GL (Auto Transmission), and Swift GLX, which would most likely be available in Auto Transmission as well.

The new Suzuki Swift 2022 is estimated to cost between Rs. 2.5 million and Rs. 28 million in Pakistan.
On this price tag….i would recommend to buy changan Alsvin and Proton Saga are better, really value for money specially safety features are concerned, latest technology in-built and body material is also good.
