New Zealand all rounder Jimmy Neesham has named Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf as the toughest bowler he has faced during his international career. Neesham’s comments have highlighted the challenge Rauf’s pace and aggressive bowling can create for batters.
Neesham said Rauf is especially difficult to face late in T20 innings because of his speed and ability to mix his deliveries. His slower balls can also make it difficult for batters to predict his next move.

Neesham has faced Rauf several times while representing New Zealand, including in major international matches. Rauf was particularly effective against New Zealand during the 2021 T20 World Cup, when he took 4 wickets for 22 runs as Pakistan restricted New Zealand to 134 for 8. Pakistan won the match by five wickets.
