New Zealand Won the Toss and Elected to Bowl First Against Pakistan

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in the first match of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today.

After winning the toss, New Zealand captain Tom Latham announced that his team would take to the field first. He said that the pitch looked suitable for bowling and his team would try to restrict Pakistan to a low total.

The match marks New Zealand’s first visit to Pakistan in 18 years and is seen as a significant step towards the return of international cricket to the country. The last time New Zealand played in Pakistan was in 2003 when they were on a tour of the country.
