Nida Dar Among Nominees for ICC Women’s T20I Player of the Year

Three all-rounder stars and a productive top order batter got nominated for the ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the year category.

Nida Dar is one of the nominee for ICC Women’s T20I Player of the Year. While the other two belongs to India and New Zealand.

The first and the only Pakistani woman bowler to claim 100 T20I wickets, and currently, the second-highest wicket-taker in Women’s T20Is, not only this she astonished more with her bat this year.

She scored 3 50+ scores, an unbeaten fifty at the Commonwealth Games, similar exploits against India at the Asia Cup, and a well-made 61 at home against Ireland in November.

Nida was outstanding in Asia Cup too in which she impressed with 145 runs in 6 face offs with an average of 72.50, and also claimed eight wickets at a meager 14.87 runs a piece.

She was voted as the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for October because of her exceptional performance.
