No Closure of Public Transport Terminals: DC Islamabad

The district administration of Islamabad has clarified reports about the possible closure of transport terminals in the city. Officials have confirmed that these reports are not true and that all transport services are continuing as usual.

Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon stated that all bus terminals in Islamabad are fully operational. This includes major terminals such as Faizabad Interchange, where buses and other public transport vehicles are running without any interruption.

He explained that all types of public transport, including buses, vans, and other services, are functioning normally. There are no restrictions on movement within the city, and people can travel freely without any concern.

The clarification was issued after some reports created confusion among the public about possible closures. Authorities wanted to ensure that citizens are properly informed and do not face unnecessary worry or inconvenience.

Officials also said that the administration is closely monitoring the situation to maintain smooth transport operations across the capital. They are working to ensure that daily commuters, travelers, and businesses do not face any disruption.

Residents have been advised to rely on official sources for accurate information and avoid spreading unverified news. The administration emphasized the importance of clear communication to prevent confusion.q
