Children of regular Capital Development Authority (CDA) employees will now receive a 50% discount on monthly tuition fees at the Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS).
The facility is part of a new agreement signed between the CDA Officers Association and GSIS to provide education-related benefits to CDA employees and their families. Under the agreement, eligible children will also be exempted from one-time admission fees and refundable security deposits.
The agreement also gives children of CDA employees priority during the admission process. They will receive preference on the waiting list compared with applicants from the general public.
Students receiving the concession will have access to the school’s academic facilities, co-curricular activities and student development programmes like other enrolled students.
CDA Officers Association General Secretary Chaudhary Kamran Bakht said the agreement would help reduce the education expenses faced by employees. CDA Member Estate Muhammad Zaman Watto also described the agreement as an important welfare step for CDA employees and their families.
