The National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) is accepting applications for the second cohort of its ‘Hatch 8’ pre-incubation programme. The 5-month Hatch 8 programme lets entrepreneurs introduce their innovations to full-fledged prototypes of a product that can be sold in the market.
The curriculum is designed for motivated people with a business concept aimed at validating the idea with experts and improving their expertise along the way. The five-month programme supports startups by providing them with a lively technical working atmosphere with access to a network of high-tech SMEs, MNCs, business leaders, mentors and an increasing financial network.
This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs, particularly if you are unsure about your business idea. NSTP will connect you to industry experts, who will direct you from a concept to a prototype on how to transform your idea.
NSTP is also the country’s only Hi-Tech Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The PM Imran Khan, himself accepted its status. NSTP also hosts a “Cube 8” incubator programme that is intended to take startups from the prototype to the product level. For mid and late-stage startups, the “Excelerate Pakistan” programme is intended to help them develop into SMEs and will be launched soon.
