Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC) reported higher sales revenue and profit after tax for Q1 FY2026-27. Its corporate briefing presentation, dated Thursday, 5 November 2026, put sales revenue at Rs 132.42.

OGDCL also reported an increase in earnings per share and announced a dividend for the quarter. The briefing covered operational performance alongside the financial results, including higher average daily net production of crude oil, gas and LPG.

Higher earnings and a shareholder payout

The increases in revenue and profit suggest stronger year-on-year financial performance for the quarter. Revenue is the money earned from sales, while profit after tax is what remains after costs and taxes.

Earnings per share — the profit attributable to each share — also increased. That suggests the improvement in total profit carried through to the per-share result, while the dividend announcement represents a direct payout to shareholders.
