On 75th Independence Day, Hexis College is Paying Tribute to the Martyrs of Karachi Police with the Collaboration of National Police Forum

Hexis College (O/A levels) is organizing an event on 14th August in collaboration with Execuetion, inorder to celebrate 75 years of Independence and instead of musical performances they intend to recognize this day as a day of renewal of vows of those officers and officials who sacrificed their lives; The Karachi Police martyrs in their fight against crime.

The National Police Forum a non-governmental organisation working nationwide to pay tribute to serving and martyred police officers from across the country for actions above and beyond the call of duty during the preceding year, will accompany Hexis College in this regard.

Furthermore, Hexis college is committed to the noble cause of alleviating the sufferings of the blind and visually impaired by making them an equal part of the event.

Pages of history when it comes to Pakistan’s police are full of sacrifices of the policemen who gave their lives for the sake of peace and public safety. Specially marked are the sacrifices of the metropolis called Karachi – policemen who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

Recent years and increasing operations are seeing an increase in this human cost to the fight against crime and militancy. More than 900 cops of Karachi police have helped restore peace in the city by sacrificing their lives. Even during the pandemic, police force stood as front-line soldiers and 38 cops lost their life in health crises.
