Online Tenant Registration System in Pakistan – Complete Guide

Online tenant registration is a great initiative by the Punjab information technology board (PITB). The registration system is developed to keep the record of tenants renting houses and investigate their records. The article provides a complete online tenant registration system guide in Pakistan.

The manual tenant registration at the time tenants owned a house used to be done at the police station. Still, it made it difficult to check up on the criminal record or retrieve any information easily. PITB has now developed an automated web-based application system for the registration of tenants. The online method is quick, easy, and efficient for keeping a record.

The police station’s assistants operate the system at the front desk for the complete registration of owners and tenants renting a house. The data is then integrated with the Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS) and Criminal Record Office (CRO). It assists in the identification of the criminal record of the tenant. If there is any record, a notification is delivered to the police officials to take action.

The initial registration can also be done by a mobile app operating throughout Punjab. The system provides comprehensive records of all temporary residents residing in their respective jurisdictions. This application has also made it easy for law enforcement agencies to record any law breaching and take further action.

This system is very beneficial for the house owners as they do not have to worry about the tenant’s record now. Six hundred thirty-seven thousand six hundred thirty-five tenants have been registered with PITB across Punjab.
