Only 2 Pakistani Universities Ranked in Top 200 in Times Impact Ranking 2023

Great news for Pakistan’s higher education sector! The latest QS Asia University Rankings for 2023 have recognized 50 Pakistani universities for their excellence. These rankings are designed to identify the best universities in Asia, and although only two have made it into the top 100, it is still a positive development.

The National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) has emerged as the highest-ranked national university in Pakistan according to the QS Asia Rankings. Following closely behind are Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Only NUST and QAU have secured positions within the top 100 universities in Asia.

The QS Asia University Rankings 2023 feature a total of 760 universities, making it the largest Asia University Rankings ever since its inception.

Peking University has been ranked as the best higher education institute in Asia for this year. The National University of Singapore, which held the top spot last year, has now secured the second position. Tsinghua University is ranked as the third-best university in Asia.
