Only Copy of Quran Engraved on Walls

The world’s only copy of the Qur’an, which is preserved on the walls of a mosque in Egypt, has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This mosque is located in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, the construction of this mosque cost 800 million Egyptian pounds, and it is the best example of architecture, this mosque was inaugurated on the 1st of Ramadan by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

This mosque is known as Masjid al-Masr because of its professional Islamic cultural center, from which one hundred thousand prayers are offered.

The specialty of this mosque is that it has separate rooms or galleries for each verse, from Surah Fatiha to Surah Al-Nas, the Holy Quran is inscribed on the wall.

Masjid al-Masr holds two world records, the largest wooden pillar in a mosque in the world, this pillar is hand-crafted and has a height of 54 feet.
