Over 147,000 Tourists Visit Kaghan in Ashura Holidays

More than 147,000 tourists visited the beautiful Kaghan Valley during the Ashura holidays this year. This high number shows that Kaghan remains the top tourist spot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) reported that a total of 147,812 tourists visited the valley. Among them were about 30 foreign visitors. Many people traveled from different parts of Pakistan to enjoy the green mountains, rivers, and cool weather of Kaghan and Naran.

To handle the large crowd, KDA staff worked closely with Tourism Police and local police. They managed traffic on busy roads and helped travelers find their way. This teamwork helped keep everything running smoothly and safely for everyone.

However, authorities warned tourists to stay away from the Kunhar River and its small streams. Fast water and slippery areas can be dangerous, especially after rain. They asked people to follow safety rules and enjoy the views from safe places.

More guests continued to arrive even after the holidays were over. This consistent flow demonstrates Kaghan Valley’s rising popularity among both domestic and foreign tourists. The natural beauty, fresh air, and good facilities continue to attract people year after year. Tourism here also supports local businesses like hotels, shops, and transport.
