Pakistan’s National Jobs Portal (NJP) has received more than 71 lakh applications for over 1,200 government job advertisements, showing strong demand for public sector employment across the country. The portal was created to make government recruitment easier, more transparent, and fully digital.
The portal has also attracted more than 27.5 million individual visitors since its launch. So far, over 1.56 million people have created accounts on the platform and submitted their CVs for government employment opportunities.
A total of 185 government departments, organisations, and employers are currently registered with the NJP. The platform brings job listings and applications into one digital system, allowing candidates to apply for vacancies online.
The main purpose of the portal is to make government hiring more transparent and reduce the need for physical applications. It also gives job seekers a central place to find vacancies from different public sector organisations.
