Overseas Pakistanis Can Now Be arrested for ‘Anti-state’ Social Media Remarks, FIA Issues Alert.

The most leading investigating Agency of Pakistan, (FIA) The Federal Investigation Agency, has posted a notification about the overseas Pakistanis, that they have been involved in Anti-Pakistani activities online.

The FIA has also released out a notification threat for the overseas Pakistani social media activists that could get prosecuted via Interpol, as per the 24 News.

FIA also stated as a warning that no inappropriate posts or rebellious content should be posted by the social media activists.

It stated that if someone would ever try to violate the rules, his name would be included in the list of Exit Control (ECL) with a red notice issued to make him get arrested through Interpol.

The Notification of FIA also, warned the overseas Pakistanis, to study Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act ( PECA) 2016, although the precedent citizens should not be worried or concerned about it as this legislation is limited for those who commit the crime, and break rules.

An investigation has been initiated by the FIA against a YouTuber for intentionally creating anti-state comments on the social media and trying to promote instability in Pakistan.

This YouTuber has been implicated in spreading fake news and anti-state lies, so an Interpol Red notice will be given to that particular person.
