The Pakistan Air Force has emerged victorious in the 55th National Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026 after defeating the Pakistan Navy by 3–1 in an exciting and closely contested final match.
The championship brought together 16 of the country’s top volleyball teams, featuring strong competition and high-level performances throughout the tournament. Teams from various departments and regions participated in the national event, making the competition one of the most significant volleyball championships held in Pakistan this year.
Pakistan Air Force displayed outstanding teamwork, discipline, and determination during the tournament, eventually securing the national title after a gap of 12 years. Their return to the top marked a major achievement for the team, which delivered consistent performances from the group stages to the final showdown.
The final match against Pakistan Navy attracted significant attention from volleyball fans, with both teams putting up an intense battle on the court. Although Pakistan Navy fought hard and managed to win one set, PAF maintained control during crucial moments and successfully sealed the match with a 3–1 victory.
PAF captain Chief Technician Fahad Raza played a key role in the team’s triumph with his exceptional leadership and impressive all-round performance throughout the championship. In recognition of his outstanding contribution, he was awarded both the Best Player of the Final and the Best Player of the Tournament honors.
Sports officials and fans praised the quality of the tournament and the competitive spirit displayed by participating teams. The victory is being seen as a significant boost for volleyball in Pakistan and a memorable achievement for the Pakistan Air Force volleyball team after more than a decade-long wait for the national crown.
